Week 4 Interim Critique

Today we had to arrive at class with our whole pitch bible mocked up in black and white ready to present for critique (Please see the post 'Georgia - Week 3-4' for screenshots of the pitch bible for presentation).
Zac, Salman, and I did the talking during our presentation while Martin moved through the pages on the computer. We received lots of positive feedback about the layout, the characters, and the world, and also some constructive feedback about some changes we could make to make the bible better. These were mostly focused around; the cover (as the writer decided she didn't like having more characters than Kizzy and Kaka on the cover), the contents page (as Tanya told us we didn't need one), and the world page (as Tanya thinks it would be best to have the whole spread dedicated to the world and move the minor characters elsewhere). Our writer also expressed once again that she really liked the original pose I had drawn of Kizzy, so perhaps this is the pose we will use for her character page.
During the rest of class I moved things around layout-wise within the pitch bible based on the critique we had received and I also chose a new heading font with the writer's help, Zac worked on sketching out the new cover concept that Tanya had helped us ideate, Salman worked on some more environment/world ideas, and Martin started refining his sketches of Kaka for the final inking.
